Super Safe Modular Filter For Schools 

• To safeguard you and your staff, many of our dust extraction system range can be supplied with VFV ^TM (Vertical Flameless Venting).
• This is a unique safety system that only NZ DUCT can offer to NZ schools. VFV allows any  explosion to escape, but does so via the roof of the filter unit. In addition, only the pressure wave leaves the filter, no fire or dust is emitted. There is no danger of secondary fire damage to equipment, and anyone near the filter at the time will not be exposed to the shock wave or fire.
• Depending upon the model, the cost of this unique system is very comparable to the competitors 'fire ball' venting, and other modular filters offered that are based on 1950's technology.
• Tests in the German test centre, FSA, proved our VFV ^TM system developed by our Danish supplier, allowed only the shockwave of the explosion to escape via the roof panels: no fire, no dust. This is the safest explosive release system available in the world. 
• Our SuperSafe dust extraction systems are certified to ATEX Equipment Directive 2014/34/EU, whilst many other suppliers on the market can claim only to conform to this International Standard. ATEX compliance is listed in the Ministry of Education Guidelines to Schools : Oct 2022.
• Quality filter construction using 3 and 4mm galvanised Swedish steel means the whole dust extraction system is designed with safety in mind, including the high tensile bolts used: important because in the unlikely event that an explosion were to occur, this SuperSafe filter maintains its integrity as a unit: panels and nuts and bolts do not explode everywhere causing damage and harm to anyone in the vicinity, as is the case with older style dust collectors. 
• Single or double modules available and both can be expanded in the future by simply adding another module or two.
• Standard modular filters cannot be adapted to provide these certified features: if you are offered a product claiming to be similar to our SuperSafe dust extraction system, ask to see the certification,  and the video evidence from a recognised Test facility that this is true!

Expandable design - without having to purchase a whole new dust extraction system, this modular SuperSafe dust extraction filter can be expanded from 1 to 2 modules, 2 to 3 etc. if a school technology area needs to increase with more classrooms or more machines. Our technical sales staff will always try to future proof you initial system but being expandable is a huge benefit as is the small footprint saving valuable playground space.

No exclusion zone required - Even if a filter offered to a school includes an explosion membrane, if it is retro fitted, and/or side mounted, a permenantly marked exclusion zone will be mandatory. Most school properties do not have this space to spare, and usually layout requires pupils/staff access around the prerimiter of any school building. Due to VFV this out of bounds area is not an issue.

Low maintenance - these filters are very easy and economical to maintain. There is no need to change the bags annually as often is the case with basic undersized units placed in schools as they were the lowest price! Just remember to empty the bin and they will offer years of efficient dust extraction. Our Technical staff will offer a maintanence program which is obligatory if you choose to have our 3 year warranty.
