For any vehicle workshop operation, whether heavy haulage industrial or domestic cars, if engines will be running whilst work is carried out, good efficient extraction must be in place to protect technical staff, as well as other staff working nearby in offices or even in neighbouring buildings. The exhaust fumes need to be removed from the service area before your staff breathe them in making the total room approach with ceiling fans or open shutter doors unworkable and unethical.
