Dust extraction for your CNC machine is made safe, clean, and efficient using our products.

The area around your CNC machine will likely need more extraction than the rest of your factory put together. If fitted with a 200-250mm diameter extraction point and (manufacturers' specification) 30-35m/sec extraction velocity, you need 4,000-6,000m³ of air per hour.

Due to it's composition YOU SHOULD NOT BE BREATHING IN MDF DUST, and CNC dust extraction should be taken seriously.

NZ Duct+Flex can remove the dust, give you a better finish to your product, stop the dust drifting to your paint-spraying area, and give your staff a healthier work environment.

Tips:

  • Locate your CNC under the highest part of the roof you can.
  • Attach our specialist German-made CNC flex to the top of the cutting head and hang vertically to the roof. This allows the flex to swing like a grandfather clock pendulum and it will last longer, work more effectively, and never implode under suction even with the larger CNC units.
  • Basic filters are often offered with the purchase of a CNC machine as a 'freebie'. These are generally ineffective and leave you cleaning off your finished cut boards with expensive compressed air. We have considerable experience in quoting for systems that will leave you with a clean workshop, saving you time and money.
