• To safeguard you and your staff, many of our filters can be supplied with VFV ^TM (Vertical Flameless Venting).
• This unique system allows the explosion to escape but does so via the roof of the filter unit. In addition, only the pressure wave leaves the filter, no fire or dust is emitted. There is no danger of secondary fire damage to equipment and anyone near the filter at the time will not be exposed to the shock wave or fire.
• Depending upon the model, the cost of this unique system is either comparable to the competitors 'fire ball' venting, or, with some models, it's included in the overall design of the unit and at no extra cost.
• Tests in the German test centre, FSA, proved the JKF system called VFV ^TM (Vertical Flameless Venting) allowed only the shockwave of the explosion to escape via the roof panels, no fire, no dust and no potential to create secondary explosions. This is the safest explosive release system available. 
• Conforms to ATEX Equipment Directive 2014/34/EU as listed in the Ministry of Education Guidelines to Schools : Oct 2022.
